Hi Mourad,

Its was very nice to meet you albeit briefly at the V&A today. Your talk gave a total novice like me a glimpse into the pitfalls, but also the beauty of Arabic calligraphy and identities.

I am still waiting for my client to respond to my cost proposal, so will email her to push her along.

We so enjoyed your talk. You opened our eyes in a very short space of time not only to the beauty and flexibility of the Arabic script but also to the rigour that lies behind it.

Dear Mourad,

Thank you very much for delivering yesterday's lunchtime lecture at the V&A-it was a lovely addition to our July-September series of events. I was delighted that we attracted so many attendees-a testament to you and the interesting subject matter. The attendees I spoke to afterwards really enjoyed the event and many commented on the humorous images and thought-provoking subject.
